Nemeton Press
Nemeton Press is an independent publisher of literary fiction, nonfiction and poetry books in New York, NY. Founded by poet, novelist and sculptor James W. Gaynor.
A nemeton was a sacred space of ancient Celtic religion and are most often sacred groves of oak trees. pak creative designed a logo reflecting tree rings, which also resemble press wheels. As an added touch, Nemeton’s business cards are printed on wood with an oak stain.
Nemeton Press’s first release was Everything Becomes a Poem and pak designed the cover and Interior of the book, as well as a broadside for the collection’s most popular poem. pak also created a fold-over business card, resembling a small book, with necessary ordering information.
